Work at camp!
Every summer, Covenant Point hires a diverse team of summer staff that comes together to share the message of Jesus Christ and encourage next steps of faith. Serving on summer staff might just be the best decision you make, are you ready for a memorable summer?
Qualifications & Requirements
Covenant Point is looking for individuals who want to join us in presenting campers with the claims of Jesus Christ and encouraging them in their next steps of faith.
In addition to having a committed, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we also require applicants to:
- Be at least 18 years of age by the start of their employment.
- Seek to strengthen and grow their own relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Encourage and contribute to a healthy staff community and team.
- Be able and willing to serve in and outside their job description.
- Demonstrate willingness to work hard, be flexible and responsible at all times.
Some positions require additional certifications:
- Lifeguard Certification for those who need or desire to be certified will need to take place prior to your arrival at CPBC. Lifeguard certification is valid for 2 years. CPBC will reimburse you for the cost of your successful LG training up to $300, plus pay all lifeguard certified staff an extra $30 weekly. This is a bonus for anyone who receives an approved lifeguard certification and serves as a lifeguard while on staff (whether your primary position is lifeguard, counselor, or another programming role). Lifeguard certification must be obtained prior to arrival and expenses will be reimbursed up to $300, pending successful completion. (Note: some positions require lifeguard certification)
- First Aid / CPR / AED Certification (required for ALL staff, who do not have lifeguard certification) will be during our first week of staff training, or will be a blended option partially online prior to arrival and in-person after you arrive at CPBC. For those who are trained as lifeguards, CPR is included in Lifeguard Training, therefore anyone certified as a lifeguard does not need additional CPR certification. If you cannot be here for this training, you are required to be trained prior to your camp arrival.
- Wilderness & Remote First Aid Certification at CPBC (for those who require it): Offered at CPBC possibly as early as June 1, 2025 for those requiring it.
