About the Author: Mark Safstrom

Mark Safstrom is a former CPBC staff member (2000-2006) and a historian of the Covenant Church. Mark is a professor of Scandinavian studies at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, where he teaches courses in history, literature, and Swedish language.
